On Saturday November the 6th, Team Sometimes Grandma captained by Gerrie’s youngest Grandchild Jai, we will walk to end Alzheimer’s Disease. It’s been 8 years since the 5’2 brown dynamo who made our life so sweet, transitioned after a short but brutal journey through ALZ.

Our Team Message
JOIN TEAM SOMETIMES GRANDMA TO HELP US END ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE
GERALDINE BARWICK (July 6, 1941 to August 5, 2013) was so much more than the fragile shell left behind by Alzheimer’s Disease.
Our “Gerrie” was brilliant, fearless, funny, loyal and loving. She adored life, laughter, fine clothing and most of all – FAMILY.
Gerrie took her rest on August 5, 2013, four years to the day of her formal August 5, 2009 Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
Though her family will FOREVER miss her presence, we Gerrie’s children, grandchildren, extended family and friends honor her memory by continuing to support Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness and Prevention through ADVOCACY + ACTION.
Our prayer, our goal is to celebrate the end of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Gerrie NEVER gave up on anything! We’re doing exactly what she would do . . . STAND. FIGHT. NEVER QUIT.
You can join Team Sometimes Grandma and/or support our cause, here.
See you Saturday, November 6.
Luckie + Jaiya #4GERRIE
