I am Luckie.

I launched Right Mind Athletics with my daughter, Jaiya Devi, in 2019 when she was in the 7th grade. What started as custom apparel for youth athletes quickly became something more.

Jaiya was already an elite track and field athlete, and we understood early that mindset would matter just as much as talent. At the same time, life hit hard. In 2019, I was unexpectedly fired and told I was not the “right cultural fit.” Not long after, Jaiya and I lost our car and our home.

Right Mind Athletics was our response.

I built it so Jaiya could see that her circumstances did not define her, and that she had the ability to work through difficult seasons and build something of her own. And if I’m being honest, I built it for myself too, to remind myself that nothing about my ability had changed.

What started as apparel became a mindset.

RIGHT MIND. RIGHT ACTION.

Right Mind Athletics grew into a way we approach training, life, and the work required to keep going. We built it with intention and allowed it to grow with her.

Today, Jaiya is 18 and a freshman at the University of Houston, training in one of the most competitive track and field programs in the country, with her sights set on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Right Mind Athletics continues to do what it was created to do. It moves with her.

Right Mind Athletics is dedicated to supporting athletes the right way, in both performance and mindset, and will continue to extend that support to families working toward their own goals.
